Meet Wesley!
Wesley is an optimistic little boy who enjoys exercise and taking walks. He likes to play with others and with his own toys. He is always wagging his tail to draw people’s attention. He is fond of following you around and participating in all of your activities. He is peaceful and friendly!
Wesley comes from a industrial dumpsite, he was found without food or water. We don’t know if he was abandoned or just happened to wander into the facility looking for food. He had sustained an injury to his left eye and was wailing for help. Our rescuer found him, at about three-month old, injured and suffering in poor conditions, so she climbed up to the garbage heap to carefully save poor Wesley. After applying a moist towel to protect his injured eye, she took him to the vet for medical treatment, hoping to save his eye. During his hospital stay, he was neutered and vaccinated and brought to good health.
Wesley has been diagnosed with Exophthalmoses, a condition likely caused by an intense strike or blow by likely delivered by a human. The vet tried to restore Wesley’s left eyesight; however, Wesley’s became blind on one side.
Wesley now lives with his foster family, he is doing much better now and receives so much love and care. He is very smart and affectionate and has seemed to have forgotten his painful past. He likes cats and little kids and is always friendly to anyone around him. Wesley is now ready for his forever home.
